Re: Save selection

Thank you Marsh for the explanation. I quite agree with Drakhens post and I'd go as far as saying: remove the feature completely if its not useful and intuitive . I work with graphics software daily (for quite some years now), and I could not guess how it works. However, to be able to save selection...

Yes, its a big question, howcome there isn't an official .deb? We are many Linux-users that are not comfortable with the terminal and terminal commands. It should be easy to use/install for anybody, regardless of the OS.

Save selection

Hi, Two questions regarding selections: 1. Today you can not save more than one user defined selections for later use. There are lot of preset selections but it would be much more handy to define your own selections, or adjust the current ones. 2. I don't understand the preset selections. If I use o...

The screenshot is from beta 2, but as you said Marsh, the problem also appears in beta 3.

1.98 beta - thumbs of 32 bit images dont get shadow

Hi, if you look here, you can see it seems that 24-bit images get a drop shadow around the thumb, but not the 32-bit images. This applies to both JPG and PSD, I have not tested other formats. 1-bit, 8-bit and 48-bit also get the shadow, only 32 dont. http://img703.imageshack.us/img703/3131/errorxk.j...

1.98 beta 2 - Pale 32-bit miniatyre and preview

I have a collection of images which are PSD, 32bit, CMYK. XnView can not show them nicely anymore, the colors are wrong, pale and thin - both in preview and thumbnail. However, some of the images look alrigt, but most don't. And the level of the error differ. I think a screenshot will explain what I...
