Re: NConvert 7.12
The nconvert Zip (Windows x64) as of today claims to be version 7.12 as announced, but the XnView classic 2.44 ReadMe.txt suggests, that 7.15 should exist. The 32bits nconvert.exe in the XnView-win-full.zip (2.44) is also version 7.12 (2017-10-19).

Are DIY references allowed as catch, and if yes, does enwiki:FLIF count?

FWIW 2.40 also crashes, but admittedly I'd never try ^^ in a width field obviously expecting some number.

Re: WebP support
JFTR, 0.6.0 . XnView 2.40 (full ZIP) contains a new Webp plugin, it works for me on Windows 7, where I have the required MSVCR120.dll (2013). On the XnView plugins download page Webp is still at an older state suited for W2K, The XnView shell extension is apparently still at a state not supporting W...

Re: Some 3x3 filters for XnView
Size Divisor Bias V01 V02 V03 V04 V05 V06 V07 V08 V09 This is a stupid question, but what are these "user defined filters", what are the rules to create something that might be interesting or even useful? I tried to check the 1230 search hits for filter on site xnview.com (= forum+wiki+old site+eve...

Re: Search for beta tester on win7 or 8 x64
Currently i test a component based on ffmpeg librairies to avoid all video playing problems. if you are interested to test it? Sure, I have the " Einstein " ffmpeg (version 3.0 built by zeranoe for Windows x64, static build = no separate DLLs) in my path on a Windows 7 box. A "portable" (no install...

Re: Pixel art scaling algorithms such as hq2x, 2xsai, etc
I support this request. FWIW FFmpeg has hqx and super2xsai . No idea if that's any good, all my FFmpeg filtering is mostly limited to smartblur , hqdn3d , geq , and pp . Depixelizing Pixel Art New URL Pixenlarge Apparently shareware, and the plugin variant is no 8BF for XnView. :?: Scale2x Impressi...

Re: Auto-refresh Browser
Is there a setting for auto-refresh? The problem also affects classic (on Windows). Sometimes I have to click on refresh even in explorer (the Windows GUI shell). I think it's a hard problem, how often should a process check its own working directories for changes triggered by other processes? If i...

Four missing icons for toolbar buttons
Some toolbar commands have no corresponding icon. For the new Mezich-48 skin I created four icons: clean.48.png edit.48.png hex.48.png reload.48.png The sources came from www.clker.com/ . If the SVG worked I converted it to PNG with rsvg-convert -o image .png image ,svg . For the reload image I down...

Re: Cannot save 48 bits SGI as PNG or FLIF
Is that as it should be, XnViewMP cannot save more than 24 (or 32 with alpha) bits per pixel? it can't save more than 24/32 bits per pixel Oops, I always thought that only classic is limited to 32 bits. Are you planning to support up to 64 bits per pixel in MP or even classic? It is not that...

Re: OpenSSL
Update, the actual versions as of May 3, 2016, are 1.0.2h or 1.0.1t, respectively. The 0.9.8 and 1.0.0 branches are dead, cf. OpenSSL Security Advisory [3rd May 2016] . XnView 2.36 apparently uses 1.0.2c ("1.0.2.3", June 2015). Oddly their May 2016 advisory talks about 1.0.2c, but I guess they mean ...

Second, I'm using XnView for years and didn't have the correct PNG read options, let alone the fascinating checkerbox INI settings. And I didn't know the UI-less_Settings page.wow - now THAT is an answer!
