Re: Browsing CDs offline, file list in fullscreen, ...
A few big wishes:
1. Cataloging of off line CD's, DVDs, etc. so you can browse the thumbs and data info with out the CD in the drawer
It will be a good feature, if Pierre implements this. I remember the old days (Windows 3.11!!!!) with the ThumbsPlus, which does allow this. It will be nice to have ...

"View" background color (Linux)
Is there any way to change "background color" of view window? I haven't found one. For me, looks like it is hardcoded to black.

Useless "Auto image size" options
I'm tired of unuseful "AutoImageSize" options and window sizing/positioning problems with XnView 1.68.1 for Linux (this happens since my first XnView version for Linux). See these images to understand what I mean:

Re: Read from stdin
You mean xwd | nview -in xwd stdin. This works, but I want XnView functionality (toolbars, save, filters...), which nview does not have.xnview wrote:You can use nview with stdin

Re: Text customization in Fullscreen image & other
I found also a :bugconfirmed: (I think): when going out from full screen mode horizontal scrollbar disappears, even it should be there because of image size. Tested it ...
If it is what I think, it has been fixed in newer releases. :bugfixed: What version are you using?

Read from stdin
Is it possible to XnView read an image from "standard input" (stdin)?
I thought about a good workaround to "screen capturing" problem, but I will need XnView reading from standard input. My idea is simple. just run this on terminal:

Re: How to capture windows without having XnView in the pict
- if I change the selection (4.) to "[x] Select a Window", then I can select a window out of the List. When I click on "Apply" it seems, that XnView takes a picture but after one second XnView disappears without any message (crash?)
Yes, crash! At least someone also has this crash!!! Do this ...

Re: Transparency
I checked it with 1.7 rc1, and I have this: options/view/show transparency(<=8bits)
Yes, I have this option too at Linux (sorry about previous message), but I see no way to change background. I want to be able to change the background! :)
However, Roti, do you know about "Show mask" feature? See ...
