Slideshow: Indidivual, user-defined zoom factor per image
<Moderator's note: This topic has been split from another topic >
It is strange that there seems to be no interest in having a slide show where *I* determine the size (zoom) of each picture manually (in the same way as *I* want to determine when to go to the next or previous picture). This is ...

Re: How to rid of the browser mode?
Thanks a lot! I did not expect a simple option like this in the settings.
Now XnView is nearly perfect for me. The only remaining issue is to be able to use the standard zoom/pan keys from within slideshow mode after feeding multiple picture into XnView. But this seems to be hard to code...

How to rid of the browser mode?
I don't need the browser mode at all but only need XnView for viewing single or pictures preselected with another tool (so I can feed the pictures into XnView via command line). Is there any way to start XnView without browser mode? The reading of arbitrary pictures on startup is annoying. When just ...

Re: Keyboard shortcuts in slideshow
I am not using the browser mode of XnView at all. I have Ztree for selecting the files. But it seems that the only way to get the selected files into XnView is the command line parameter -slide which starts a slide show. Unfortunately, within this mode I don't have zoom and pan keys available (I can ...

Re: Load/Save slideshow list to a text file?
One approach would be to assign a new Category to the images for your "slide show", then show only that Category in the Browser and initiate your fullscreen navigation from there.
I think you don't understand what I want: I use Ztree to select the files that I want to see in a slideshow. These ...

But how do I get my file name list into XnView full screen mode? When feeding them in with the -slide parameter then XnView starts in slideshow mode.JohnFredC wrote:You can pretty much do what you want in full screen mode except for the automatic sequencing of images.

Re: Load/Save slideshow list to a text file?
So to understand your request, you want to be able to pause a running slideshow in order to inspect the image more closely using the tools available in an XnView viewer tab, then resume the slideshow when you are ready?
Yes. I use Ztree to select the files I want to view and the only possibility ...

Re: Load/Save slideshow list to a text file?
One thing I am missing within Xnview is the ability to zoom/pan/etc. within a slideshow (I thought that was the question in the first post of this thread). For selecting pictures I use ZtreeWin (www.ztree.com) which allows tagged file names to be exported to a text file. I managed to create the sld ...
