Thanks for the info. I had no idea that something like that is so complicated.
So as I understand it, it is impossible to move multiple files at the same time using XNViewMP?

Option To Enlarge Text in Rename Menu
For many people I'm sure it will be very helpful to be able to enlarge the text after the rename button on the toolbar is pressed in XnViewMP. Currently although I have very good vision, I have difficulty easily seeing the text.

Move Multiple Files at the Same Time
One major thing I was hoping that would be changed with the latest update is the current limitation that only one image or video file at a time can be moved in XnViewMP. It would be extremely helpful if multiple files can be moved at the same time exactly the same way files and folders can be moved ...

Re: Batch Rename Of Video?
Thanks again Pierre!! You are awesome!! I recently installed the latest versions of 64 bit XnViewMP 0.69 and XnView Shell Extension 3.5.0. I'm delightfully pleased that now it recognizes all of the different video types I've come across so far.

Okay, thanks for replying. I uninstalled and installed the new versions. So far, all is well. BTW, I saw it updating the database.
cday, XnTriq and Pierre, thanks for your help.

Great! Thanks Pierre! I DL the 64-bit exe for XnViewMP and the Shell Extension from the links that XnTriq posted but didn't install them because I ran into a bit of a problem.

Re: Will New Version Eradicate Older Versions Features?
Thanks a lot for the info XnTriq. It's greatly appreciated.
Note that if you have XnViewMP 0.64 installed it would be better to delay updating to the latest version temporarily until an issue with the browser database has been resolved. :(

Re: Will New Version Eradicate Older Versions Features?
XnTriq, you said to disable all file managers. I have the following programs installed.
AxCrypt, Classic Shell, KeePass, QTTabBar, Teracopy, and Winstep Xtreme. Are these considered file managers?

How Do I Backup XnViewMP?
I downloaded the update. I noticed on the site it said to backup the program before installing the new version. How do I do that?

Re: Batch Rename Of Video?
I need to make a couple of corrections. In the image I pointed to in the previous post I should have also circled the pull-down arrow next to it which is what has to be clicked (they are both one in the same) to select video and other options. I also found it does recognize mpeg but not mp4 and flv ...

Batch Rename Of Video?
Every time I think I've seen all of the pertinent features in XnViewMP with shell extension I'm proven wrong. This program has a lot of great features. The one I'll be addressing is the feature that allows batch renaming of videos. A couple of weeks ago I accidentally found that feature button which ...

Re: Add XnView To FIRST Context Menu?
Hi Pierre, I just thought about this. Instead of having XnShell as a separate program, can you make XnShell part of XnViewMP?

Re: Add XnView To FIRST Context Menu?
THANKS A MILLION XnTriq!!!! This is awesome and cool!!! I set it to No sub-menu, with thumbnail. Also, thanks for correcting my terminology. I'll remember it's called a sub-menu, not a second Context Menu LOL!
