so often i've captured many screen-shots (that i have yet to save) in xnview only to have my operating system crash (not due to xnview) and thus end up losing all of my screen-shots.

could you restate that? i don't understand "they are added but all extensions are not added". it reads like a contradiction to me.
I means that some extension are not added for conflict system

I must say that I don't like too much the idea of adding an option for this: those users will happen to manipulate files through Windows Explorer and/or XnView and will be confused if they behave differently.
