Animated WEBP image format support?

Hello! Recently i found that XnView MP cannot show me animated images with WEBPVP8X ANIM ANMF headers. This format is quite popular on, ahem, very interesting sites. I have decided to go deeper and converted one GIF to Animated WebP format using the first site i found https://ezgif.com/webp-maker an...

"Loading picture..." progress bar/popup, how can i disable it?

Is it possible to disable it somewhere in the settings or maybe via INI editing? I have not found this option yet. It's very distracting to me, it pops constantly even for for 1080p PNGs, even on SSD. On a side note... I do not understand why is that "Loading picture..." popup was needed after so ma...

Video Playback suggestions...

Hello! Please, can you add (at least some of) these tiny but really useful Quality of Life features: Top 4 :( 1) Allow to play videos in "Fit to window, large only" mode or at least with permanent 100% scale - not just scale all videos to window no matter what. It is useful for low-res video files. ...

Re: fullscreen problem

Same for me, win7 x64:

In 0.75 (but not in 0.72) - a windowed mode (with borders) instead of maximized (no borders).
No matter what, when you restart the program OR went from full-screen (no UI) to non-fullscreen it returns to windowed mode state.

In my Windows 7 x64 1) "standalone" Viewer does not respects file filters when i launch XnViewMP by clicking on image in Windows Explorer (i.e. Explorer > Viewer). But it does respect filters if 2) if launch Browser and then go into Viewer mode (i.e. Explorer > Browser > Viewer) 3) or if i double cl...

Re: always on top - no option?

Try to customize your toolbars (right click on them for menu) and add new "always on top" button.
Not sure about "browser" mode but there is one for "viewer" mode!

Associate files with XnViewMP.exe 0.75

Hi! In Windows 7 with new exe name old associations does not work. So i must re-associate them, right? Now, when i launch standalone "Associate files with XnViewMP.exe" as admin and then click on OK... then nothing happens. Windows 7 still does not associate images with new exe. i tried to: uncheck ...

0.69 - xnview.pdb inside ZIP windows distributives

Not a bug, but i think that you packed "xnview.pdb" (30Mb binary file) into ZIP by mistake...

Re: Feature request for the similar file search

Yes margin are extremely useful. and it's not the margins that reduce the image display area (margins are a substratum of the other ui element on this window) This is not a matter of aesthetics or preference. There are certain rules, they may sound trivial or absurd to some of you... But theses are...

Re: Feature request for the similar file search

I do not understand this. Why do you need all these huge margins and rows with buttons? They are so beautiful? They are so useful? :?: They reduce the image comparison area - main area of this window. Change some margins, but not all, change some borders and move some buttons - thats all! This is ju...

Re: Feature request for the similar file search

This is about batch comparison, not about a couple of files. And i do not think these changes require a lot of programming. Only a little work in UI editor... Also Yes, the GUI there should be updated. and So, while I appreciate any suggestion on the matter, I think that the GUI part for 'comparing'...

Re: Feature request for the similar file search

- Why is the feature to "interlink" the image pair removed from XnView MP? Wouldn't it be nice to click on the zoom in button and it would zoom in on both images at the same time? It was removed??? My two cents: - Add maximize and maybe minimize button(s) to this window; - Reduce (o...
