In my case, yes.

I use XnView to look at scans from old magazines. With previous versions I used to set zoom to 100%, then lock zoom and look at the files / pages one by one. Every page would start at the top which was good since that's the point where one would like to start reading.

Yes but that only works when "lock zoom" is disabled here. If I want to keep a certain zoom level (e.g. 100%) it won't work.

Configurable "lock position" feature

Prior to v1.80 of XnView pictures were not centered automatically on screen if they didn't fit in the window. Version 1.80 introduced this new auto-centering feature as discussed in this thread .

While for photographs or other images it might be nice to have the picture automatically centered on ...

Could you please make this "lock position" feature configurable?
I actually prefer to have images not fitting into the window vertically aligned at the top of the window.

When looking at scans of magazine or book pages the automatic vertical centering gets very annoying since one has to scroll to ...
