nconvert.exe -jpegcrop 257 85 2480 3508 "E:\Test 1\*.jpg" --> Error: Can't open file

It seems that output filename is ignored.
Is it possible to keep the original file or create xnbak file like XNView does?

Is it possible to cut a scanned A3 page in half and save it as two files in A4 size with XNView or NConvert?

keep file date/time does not work
Hi,
I'm trying to do a batch lossless rotate +90°
So I set the parameters like here:
http://666kb.com/i/c8jic14jki2j3eahf.jpg
and add JPEG lossless rotation on the transformation tab.
Now I'm seeing that the file date/time of every file has changed to "now".
Any ideas?

How to clean greyscale scans?
I want to use XNView's batch mode to "clean" my greyscale scans. These are written notes on dirty,non-white paper or photocopied with too dark setting.
Turning contrast up gives good results but tends to make the lines too tall and look oversharped...
What are the recommended XNView picture ...
