I can confirm this behaviour on my Netbook (Desktop-PC not tested).
Coordinates (Laditude/Longitude) are not shown in filelist ( Details ), GPS indicator is not shown.
When I close XnViewMP and delete the xnview.db everything looks fine - until I change the directory and go back.
