I can see the value of having a close button in the toolbar and in fullscreen mode the toolbar is wide enough anyway to add another button.

But please do only add it to the toolbar itself and do not show a close button if the toolbar is hidden (via Settings->View->Fullscreen->Show toolbar = false ...

Please consider the following improvements to the Copy/Paste/Replace functionality:

When copying/pasting a picture named “original”, please name it “original - Copy.jpg” instead of “Copy of original.jpg” (this way, it will be sorted alphabetically next to the original).

1) Remember crop aspect ratio so that on next start the chosen ratio is still selected.

Thank you for this hint, this brings me a bit closer to the behavior I am looking for!
When starting XnView, it does so now in fullscreen mode.

I like to browse my pictures via thumbnails and a large preview, which is fine with XnView.

However, is there a possibility to have XnView open the pictures in fullscreen mode by default (hitting enter or double clicking) rather than opening a new tab for it?
