I guess you can PM the moderator and mention your IP.
They can monitor your IP address and find your credentials
The email address used for the first account might be better as IP addresses can change, for example when a router is rebooted...

Re: NConvert and XnView MP

Are there any differences between converting using XnView MP and NConvert? If so, are all functions completely the same? If not what are the main differences? NConvert is a command line utility which currently supports many, but not all, editing functions provided in XnView Classic and MP... Think ...

Re: Batch cropping issue

If the position of the crop is different in each image, the only way to do what you want would seem to be to crop each image individually in a program such as XnView MP...

You may if you explore the interface be able to configure the crop dialog so that the settings that are constant are remembered.

Re: Can no longer print to PDFs

I upgraded (reluctantly) from Adobe Acrobat XI to Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and now I find the "Adobe PDF" option has disappeared from my list of printers. Adobe PDF is shown as still available in this Adobe link . I am still using Acrobat XI, so I'm afraid I can't have a look for myself. I can still *s...

Re: Displayed size of a file

When a file is opened, the size of an image on the screen depends on several factors: The option set in View > Auto image size The image pixel dimensions And for some file formats, the setting used in File > Format settings... > Read tab If you still have a problem after reviewing those settings, pl...

Re: Output filenames in lowercase?

Thanks. The files to be converted use both upper and lowercase characters. I want the nconvert output files to have all lowercase characters. What would you suggest? I was thinking of the command line utility Bulk Rename Command. I'm not very familiar with it, as I've only used it once or twice and...

Re: Output filenames in lowercase?

I'm pretty sure nconvert can do this, because xnviewmp can. But it's not listed in the manpage. How can you output filenames in lowercase? Output filenames are set using the -o switch: -o filename : Output filename Use # to specify position of numeric enumerator Use % to specify source filename Use...

Re: Problem with importing-exporting .tif files

If possible could you please attach an example image with the problem (or part of an image if privacy or file size is an issue), preferably in a ZIP to ensure that the file is original. There may then be a delay before someone can look at it.

Re: Load action issue

If I understood your problem correctly: I'm not sure if a .bat file can be loaded for reuse, you may have to export each set of actions using the alternative option to save a script by clicking the small blue folder icon at the bottom of the screen. You would then have to load and run each script se...

Re: Load action issue

You have clicked on the small yellow folder icon at the bottom-left of the window to load actions you have exported for NConvert?

If so, as far as I know you can only load either Big.bat or Small.bat as XnConvert can only output one set of processed images when it is run...

Or do I misunderstand?

Re: How can I batch-"Save for web" my images before compress in XnView?

I have 400 images ready to load to my webshop. I want to do “Save For Web”, because it should delete all metadata and xmtp headers, which ain’t useful and makes the images heavier, I am told. Afterwards I have in mind to compress the images in XnView, because here it should be possible to batch man...

Re: Using a xbs file as an input to nConvert?

So I have a xbs file which has the complete convert configuration I want to use. Can use this file as a input to nConvert? It doesn't seem that I can. I had also hoped to use the export to batch function, but that doesn't include any of the output format options. It only included the resize options...

Re: o flag, %, $EXIF:DateTaken[YYMMDDdate format] and strftime

At a quick look in the first instance, I think you need to include the extension in the -o term, at least I normally do. And if you are using a batch file rather than the command line, you need to double the % symbol to %% to 'escape' the character in Windows cmd.exe. I'm not familiar with EXIF but ...
