Re: Command parameters - levels 2
In the new version 7.70 of nconvert, the command "-levels 2" has appeared, please help us understand the parameters of this command. The logic of these 5 parameters is not quite clear. Describe them in more detail and preferably with examples. Referring to the Image > Adjust > Levels... display in ...

Re: Is there a way to change the folder colors?
There is no point in the priority adding this opportunity to the detriment of other tasks. There will be free time - then it may be sense to remember your offer, but still early because Its implementation will require switching the developer's efforts from eliminating errors and compatibility issue...

Re: Is there a way to change the folder colors?
The yellow is really destroying the dark theme. Any way to change this? I know there was a folder color editor app for the classic version, anything like that possible in MP? May I suggest that you make a request for an option to be added, referring to the option available in XnView Classic, as a n...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
If you need to process alternative types of source file and writing a general purpose script seems daunting, if you could use alternative NConvert files configured for alternative types of input (colour, black and white, etc.) that should be very much easier, and you probably wouldn't need many, may...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
On your last point, regrading hls, gamma and brightnesss, I think you likely inadvertently selected a different batch convert action... More generally, with so many parameters concerning what you will in the future wish to use as input to NConvert remaining open, it is difficult to know what useful ...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
Will your multi-page files be produced in a Word processor such as Libre Office? They will be produced by cups. (https://wiki.debian.org/SystemPrinting) But CUPS is the interface between a software application, such as a word processor or drawing program, and the installed printer, isn't it? You di...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
@IxenPDF
I have edited my previous post in respect of the DPI value shown in the file properties.
Will your multi-page files be produced in a Word processor such as Libre Office?
Are you able to make available a representative test file, in respect of colour, resolution and compression?

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
This needs more thought: your original 10pages.pdf file was presumably created in a word processor (Libre Office?) and exported as a PDF? When opened in XnView MP, which provides an easy way to view the file properties, it is shown to be 300 DPI and uncompressed, however I'm not sure whether the PDF...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
I have thought for some time that a short tutorial on working with multi-page PDF files would be a useful reference, and some of the points that have come out in this thread in relation PDF image files could usefully be included, if I ever write one. I think the relevance of what Pierre said above i...

Re: Hand tool
That was always a possibility, in that case if you take a look at Tools > Settings... (always worthwhile as there are many options that may be useful) you should be able to browse to the mouse button options, which is what I think you need.

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
there is no way to get DPI from a PDF file, because it's resolution independent Thank you for that clarification... :D I take it that a PDF file containing only an image contains only the image matrix, with no dimensional information, that is logical, whereas a PDF file containing an image on a pag...

Re: Converting a multi-page PDF to a multi-page PDF
@IxenPDF It will be later in the day before I can respond to the now multiple issues raised: sitting outside in some rare fine weather I can think, which is often beneficial in a situation like this, but I can't use my laptop as the screen isn't bright enough. I wouldn't be optimistic that Pierre wi...
