I tried everything I could think of to get this to work. Unfortunately, I failed. In addition
to the repetitive dialogs, XnView would crash on me when attempting to save the images
to files.

Confirmed. Editing settings by hand produces same result. [Browser Toolbar] button##=0 gets reset to button##=-1

I am running XnView 1.98.8 on three computers; two that run Windows XP,
