Re: Need Help With Multiple Screen Captures

Hi guys.

Just a follow-up to my post.

I tried everything I could think of to get this to work. Unfortunately, I failed. In addition
to the repetitive dialogs, XnView would crash on me when attempting to save the images
to files.

I needed to get this project done, so I bit the bullet and ...

Solved: File wouldn't display in thumbnails.

Not sure if this would be considered a bug or not, but in any case, I thought I'd share it.

This afternoon, I was surfing the web, and saw an image on a page that I wanted to save.
I right-clicked on the image, chose Save Image, then navigated to the destination folder,
which is my XnView startup ...

Re: Had to rollback from 1.99 to 1.98.8 - Locks up In View

Strange, no change in view mode...
Do you have tried with a clean xnview.ini?

Hello. Thanks for responding.

I find this strange as well, since I didn't see anything pertinent in the change log.

Initially, I installed 1.99 on top of the previous version, and in so doing inherited
all of the ...

Had to rollback from 1.99 to 1.98.8 - Locks up In View Mode

Greetings.

I had been using XnView 1.98.8 under Windows XP SP3 x86 since it was released.

When 1.99 was released, I was eager to install it to address some bug fixes.

However, a new issue has arisen with this version.

This morning I was viewing a series of images in View mode. I was using the ...

Oops!

Finally found the release notes in the program directory. It's not mentioned, so
I will check back on this again in the next version.

Re: Unable to Add Open File Item to Toolbar in XnView 1.98.8

Confirmed. Editing settings by hand produces same result. [Browser Toolbar] button##=0 gets reset to button##=-1

Hi again marsh.

I'm seeing this issue also in 1.99 with the "Old Toolbar" skin. I haven't tried any
other skins yet, but I plan to. Am I using the correct procedure to add the icon ...

Unable to Add Open File Item to Toolbar in XnView 1.98.8

I am running XnView 1.98.8 on three computers; two that run Windows XP,
and one running Windows 7.

I have found that I cannot add the Open File item to the toolbar from the
user interface in this version. While I am able to delete items or move
them around on the toolbar, I cannot successfully ...
