BLP images that aren't recognized

XNView is usually great for viewing blp images, but there's a small percentage that XNView doesn't recognize. I know they're blps and I can convert them to png using a converter tool (with BLPNGCONVERTER ), but XNView doesn't see them as blps for some reason. I've attached a few of them with fake .z...

Thanks for your quick reply! Unfortunately (or fortunately!) it stopped doing it. I tried emptying the cache but it's still fine. So I'm unsure what was going on :/ Maybe it was some other process on my computer that was interfering, though I don't think so because it continued to do it after reboot...

OK, please ignore the first part. I completely uninstalled the XNView, erased my settings again and reinstalled it (full version this time) and now it opens blp images properly. So I don't know what went wrong the first time during upgrading. I still find it hangs for a short while (maybe 10 seconds...

Enhanced .blp support

I know that XnView supports reading Blizzard's BLP file format, but I've noticed that there are often files (especially newer ones) that it fails to open (with a generic "Error opening file" message). BLP converters (such as "BLP2PNG") can recognize and convert them, so I assume they're not corrupte...
