Thanks! I'll try ctrl.
It's still unexpected behaviour. Windows and Mac UI don't work that way, nor did XNView Classic. Is there any way to know that ctrl double click works? It seems like a hidden function.

Re: Alpha in thumbnails
Not if I've selected the menu option for it to not display, no. For many images I'm working with, it's hard to see anything in the thumb if alpha is active.
XNView Classic worked that way.

Alpha in thumbnails
The file browser shows alpha in preview thumbnails even if you've turned off "Use Alpha Channel" and then rebuilt the thumbnails. At least, this is the case with png and blp images. It means that some preview thumbnails are almost invisible when they have strong alpha masks.

Opening multiple images from file viewer
In the file viewer, if I select multiple image files and then shift-double click on them it only opens the last image selected and not all of them. The expected behaviour would be to open all of them (in tabs), which is how it worked in XNView Classic and is consistent with how the Windows and Mac ...

BLP images that aren't recognized
XNView is usually great for viewing blp images, but there's a small percentage that XNView doesn't recognize. I know they're blps and I can convert them to png using a converter tool (with BLPNGCONVERTER ), but XNView doesn't see them as blps for some reason.

Re: blp display issue
Thanks for your quick reply!

Re: blp display issue
OK, please ignore the first part. I completely uninstalled the XNView, erased my settings again and reinstalled it (full version this time) and now it opens blp images properly. So I don't know what went wrong the first time during upgrading.

Thanks for your work - this application is fantastic :)

Enhanced .blp support
I know that XnView supports reading Blizzard's BLP file format, but I've noticed that there are often files (especially newer ones) that it fails to open (with a generic "Error opening file" message).
BLP converters (such as "BLP2PNG") can recognize and convert them, so I assume they're not ...
