I use nconvert.exe version 7.110 to resize (compress) jpg files in a folder to save on size.
The result is terrible, pictures very "pixely" and definitely a large diversion from the originals.

Default Filename for Scanning (TWAIN/WIA)
When scanning, xnViewMP allocates a filename something like Scan-YYYY-MM-HH-mm, i.e. the minute gives the filename's max resolution.
If one scans 2 or more files in the same minute then a filename conflict arises when saving the files.
For my mode of occasional scanning this is really tedious ...

Scanner in XnViewMP
My Scanner does not appear in XnViewMP Version 0.72 x64 (Dec 19 2014).
Windows 7, 64bit.
Scanner is a HP OfficeJet Pro 8620.
The HP scanner software works perfectly, so the scanner is well installed and working.

How to "Batch" several commands via Icon in the Viewer?
I regularly scan a few pages or have a few photos to perform the following on:
- resize to 1024 x 768
- normalize the colors
- automatic contrast
- automatic level
I did that via Toolbar-Icons and the integrated cmd_xxxx Commands.
Is there a way that to integrate all commands into one batch ...

nconvert option -D deletes input files if used a second time
I am still trying to automate some regular procedure I do with my images.
I wrote a batch file with several invocations of nconvert (version 6.21, Win7 x64) to perform the individual steps, e.g. rotate, re-size, normalize, rename, add text.
It might make sense to use the batch a second time, after ...

Re: Serious Flaws : Text adding, deleted files, renaming fea
I work on my pictures in 2 steps:
There is a flaw in XnConvert, which led to loss of pictures and videos:
If in Step 2) an image is too small, to take the added text, xnView goes nuts and overwrites other images, duplicates others ... I could not find the regularity here, however, a major flaw.
