Re: Unable to read XBS files created earlier
OK, here are my two files. I have not yet installed nor found in the many tools I have installed so far (new machine) that does a byte for byte compare or carete hash code on these type files. I hope you find something. I've been using a NAS lately too that these may have traveled through. Too many ...

Re: Unable to read XBS files created earlier
I went back to an older backup and was able to get the directory filled with them. To my surprise, they worked.
Something must have corrupted them in an really unusual way (only the older ones had issues).
Let me find the bad ones again as I tried to rid myself of them.

Unable to read XBS files created earlier
I was running 1.50A Beta and LOVING it. WOW what a GREAT piece of software. Now I've converted to 1.51 and I cannot open my old .XBS scripts. It's a disaster! I am also unable to reinstall now for some reason. I get the side-by-side error that has to do with C++ Redist 2008 which I have installed. I...

Trouble rotating by 180 degrees
I was able to get my runs of nConvert to work fine by using the -rotate command line operation. I'm getting an exit of -2 now when I use -jpegtrans operation. I was losing a lot of quality and figured out why.... my JPEG quality level went from 97 to 85 because nConvert's default is 85 So I really w...

Re: Command line options of nconvert 6.10
Maybe I missed it, but this information would be great to put into a TXT file and distribute with nConvert. I must have just missed it as it is a little too obvious of a thing to include. ** NCONVERT v6.10 (c) 1991-2011 Pierre-E Gougelet (May 31 2012/21:35:34) ** Version for Windows NT/9x/2000/Xp/Vi...

XnConvert User's Guide?
Is there a User's Guide or a help file for XnConvert?
I could use a guide for what some of the commands do. It's a little unclear sometimes. Or perhaps I should say I could use education on what some of the terms mean as the program is nicely designed but some of the terms I'm not familiar with.

How do you change the view of the "Input Files"?
I am running the new release, 1.51. First tab, Input, I see the headings across the top of the list of files, but the view I have is only a thumbnail. I do not see a button or pull-down or anything else that will change the view. The problem it is causing at the moment is that I cannot read the file...

Any tips for whitening scanned books pages?
Since I have the opportunity, I would like to send a big THANK YOU to everyone working on XnView!! What an AWESOME piece of software. I don't know why I haven't found it and continue to pay for several commercial packages. I have already made a donation even though I have had it installed for just 2...

Re: Is there white balance correction using eyedropper?
I came to this forum to ask that very question. Or just a "white balance" in general was one I wanted to ask about. I'm using a scripting program called Able Batch Conversion. I bought it years ago because it was one of the few, if not the only one at the time, that would do "deskewing". It has two ...
