Hi

I have a request: could you perhaps please build some binaries of your program against an older libstdc++ for old systems (think: Debian Woody)?

I can then build a package for Damnsmalllinux and submit to the repo.

You might recall I'm the guy who built a uci package for Damnsmalllinux with your permission out of the static redhat binary for XnView1.70, which works very well (except for the famous menu crashing issue), available eg

1. I wouldn't describe v1.7 as "unusable" on linux just because there are a few issues. Please show a little sensitivity/gratitude in your choice of words - developers spend large amounts of their time making programs like this for you to use _free_.

Thanks Pierre! Great the way you get on the case so quickly.

I'm just wildly (probably foolishly!) guessing but is it possible that:

1. Function XtWidgetToApplicationContext () is been handed an incorrect argument for some reason? Or:

2. There's a problem with Motif and libXt. Googling I found ...

Unfortunately we're having this problem using the RedHat static xnview binary on Damnsmalllinux, too.

strace -fivp says there is a segfault.

With the -c option there appears to eb a problem reading/accessing something.

This internet cafe's pc is infected with malware preventing pasting into ...

xnview.uci for DamnSmallLinux can now be downloaded from http://distro.ibiblio.org/pub/linux/dis ... l/testing/

If it proves to be ok it'll eventually be moved to dsl's main repo.

If you use DamnSmallLinux, please test - report any issues to the dsl forum 1st.

I second this request. Actually I'm surprised I can't find a way to switch this off.

The "do you want to save changes?" dialog is annoying, and I usually just want to rotate etc without changing the original file.

It contains the license documentation verbatim and will explicitly state in the info file that the program is freeware for ...
