Re: Can't browse archives in 1.6.1 anymore

the problem is here libcrypto.so.1.0.0 => not found where is it? As you told me, I did put it here as best as I could, aka "/opt/XnView/lib/libcrypto.so.1.0.0". ok, i can reproduce. Please uncompress this file in XnView/lib This gave me the output of "not found" I then copied the file to "/lib/x86_...

Re: Can't browse archives in 1.6.1 anymore

I've put the file inside the archive in "opt/XnView/lib" as that was the only "XnView/lib" I could find. I've also changed the "libcrypto.so" link that pointed at "libcrypto.so.1.1" to point at the 1.0.0 instead, but nothing changed anything so far. Is this something that requires more than a progra...

Re: Can't browse archives in 1.6.1 anymore

Yes, I was used to being able to "look into" archives to check the images in them without having to unpack everything. But as mentioned, it doesn't work anymore. The "Open" entry in the context menu in the browser is greyed out and double clicking just runs my Archive Manager instead. In the setting...

Re: Can't browse archives in 1.6.1 anymore

I'm afraid it's not, I'm no longer on Win7 and got on Linux with 1.6.2 the exact same issue...

Do I need to manually install an additional plugin? Because I've noticed that under About > Plugins there's only two, and both are image format plugins.
I can't find anything about archives.

Can't browse archives in 1.6.1 anymore

Subject: Double clicking archives in 1.6.1 doesn't open them in XnView MP anymore. XnView: MP 1.6.1 - 64 bit OS: Windows 7 Professional 64bit I just upgraded from 1.4.4 to 1.6.1 and was confused that I couldn't browse archives anymore. Effect: archives get instead just opened with the associated pro...

Rename if target exists does NOT work with Delete Original

I just found out the hard way that XnConvert's rename function in case the target exists does NOT rename the new output file and instead just overwrites an existing file but this only happens if Delete Original is also selected. I've been using XnConvert to convert and move the screenshots from Elit...

Layout #6 still doesn't remember it's width properly

I left a comment long ago about the 6th layout in the View -> Layout list not remembering it's width. http://imgur.com/RmG88vn,l18ySl8,HrnFMRY The first image shows how I'd like to have it, the second image shows how XnView likes to have (aka how it looks after restarting the program). Quite a big d...

Browser category list is a bit bothersome to use

I've recently given XnViewMP a try again, still using XnView eventhough the DB is horribly slow, and wanted to give some feedback for 0.72. One of the things that was really nicer about XnView was that there wasn't drag and drop for the category list in the browser view, the one with the checkboxes....

Re: List of missing features (compared to XnView Classic)

I miss the ability to view images side by side. In the MP browser... - Select a couple of images. - Tools->Compare Though it has a long way to go 'til a full implementation of compare, nevertheless the MP compare mode is much improved over the one in Classic XnView. I'm aware of the Compare functio...

Re: List of missing features (compared to XnView Classic)

IS MP supposed to be an improvement over Classic? I can't extract gifs or tile pictures for comparison in MP. So it's back to Classic for me. Removing features that attracted users is not the way to go about improving on an app. Also, if you create an app that is highly customizable with many diffe...
