I just tried on 2 machines, Win11, MP v1.9.2 installed and also one unzipped (new ini file) and the videos either don't play at all or just a blank screen.
I'm sure it worked at least on one machine I tested the dual screen : https://newsgroup ...

Re: Combining videos and images in slideshow
This feature exists for long. This is precisely a key justification for me to choose XnView years ago.

Dual-Screen - Use 2nd Monitor
Displaying picture on the 2nd screen works fine in Full-Screen mode and quick slideshow but not in SlideShow.

Re: 1.9.1 - Portable version creates settings in User folder when Portable selected
you should have an old xnview.ini
Not anybody would go and check if it exist somewhere or understand what's the implication. That's why I suggested to include an .ini file and maybe some other DB files in the ZIP distribution.
Doing so would prevent unexpected interaction with a standard ...

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
And, by the way, I found also something strange in the setup. After reinstall I've lost a size I've set in the past. The pb is re-adding (width) x 1080 as a new size it recorded 10 x 10 :?

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Hello Pierre,
Uninstalled, restarted the phone, re-installed and tried. Same result.
I checked further, différent actions and found there are no more EXIF data in the modified files. It wasn't that far when I reported the problem initialy. It was just the GPS entries that was wiped, zeroed.

Resize Me! - Suggest to display crop size
Hello Pierre,
May I suggest an improvement for this nice tool?
When I crop a picture I would like to see the resulting size in real-time. Alternately we may select a pre-defined size from a drop-down list (the same list as for resizing).
We have this in XnView. It's helpful if you would like the ...

Re: Resize Me! remove GPS data
Hello Pierre,
It seems the snake is back. Using the latest 2.5.4 (April 15) The GPS data is wiped again. Can you check please ?
As per original bug report, in batch mode GPS datas are kept (even if selecting a single image), and not in one image view.
Same if I launch ResizeMe! from another app ...

Re: Settings - paths - improve grouping
we cant, many users use ZIP package and user settings
From day one I used the ZIP files for XnView on an USB key and on my desktop at least in the past (8 ?) years due to the issue with the location of settings. I can't believe so many people just copy over and don't save their precious personal ...

Re: Settings - paths - improve grouping
Reminder the goal of this topic (you created) is to improve grouping of settings, aka simplify.
Archive should not contain user settings, as its content unzips into an existing folder, overwriting everything in it.
Overwriting doesn't look like IT best practice... No backup, no wayback ...

Re: Settings - paths - improve grouping
In ZIP package, there is no ini, so you need to set it
Can we add one in the distribution? If someone wants his own configuration he already has a copy of the files for his needs (and he knows how to copy /would find How to in the forum).
@Pierre if not included in your planned changes already ...

Re: Settings - paths - improve grouping
If you choose custom, you can set like now
Do you mean all other items are greyed unless you choose Custom ?
That's good, no headache for average users. Complexity left behind the scene👍
Is there a real need for a "Portable" option ? I think this is all solved by the ZIPped version. For those ...

Startup Wizard / Settings - integration - paths settings grouping is not ideal
Hi, I agree all the current settings are not obvious and there is an opportunity to improve.
Can you explain the idea behind the application settings being split in "Main" and "Other" ?
So far there was 3 options for ...
