Could you please add a tool in XNView that

1) Let user to trace a row into image to mark horizontal orientation

XNView will automaticaly :

a) Determine the rotation degree
b) Do the rotation
c) Crop the resulting image to keep the best rectangle image
d) Optional : If parameter like ...

Let to parameter a overlay text or logo during batching photo convertion.

Like :

Transparancy, font, color, size, position (centered, left, right, top, middle, bottom), total size, etc...

It's so often necessary to just add a small comment, arrow, line or circle and it's so easy to add this kind of function... so why use XNView and another graphic editor to do that....

Could you add this minimal feature ?

Add to XNView a powerfull noise correction filter based on the FFT filtering or Wavelet technology, like made by :

NoiseNinja, NoiseWare, neatimage, etc...

To immediatly look if picture have some highlight burned areas.

Simulate to show the original "viewfinder view" of camera and the autofocus points selected during shot.

To begin easly try to do that for the more commun manufacturer like Canon, Nikon and Sony and for RAW file format.

Actually we only could indicate amount of pixel for the grid. Coud you please let to set % ?

For exemple :

X : 33% and Y : 33%

Mean the image will have a grid divided in 3 rows verticaly and horizontaly.

X : 10
Y : 50%

Mean the image will have a row ever 10 pixels verticaly and a centered ...

Add a new transformation filter into "Batch Converter" to extract some selected EXIF info into one or many EXIF files (xls, txt) from a image selection.

It could be very important to build DB of knowledge of all images taked during a trip. Like to know how many photos was taked with this lens, or ...

Let user decide this option before to convert or batch convert RAW files :

- Use automatic white balance
- Use camera white balance, if possible
- Output colorspace (raw,sRGB,Adobe,Wide,ProPhoto,XYZ)
- Apply output ICC profile from file
- Apply camera ICC profile from file or "embed"
- Highlight ...

This point it's very easy... why don't allowed to go previous or next picture by using arrow on the full resolution view ? Only the arrow button on menu actually work.

Acceleration histogram preview for RAW image:
The histogram in the mini preview thumbnail must be calculate with the preview jpeg (if exist) inside the RAW file that will boost the refresh of histogram view.

:wink: Forget this feature -> I find the option to directly preview jpeg inside RAW and ...

About
Yes, for example me :-) fun_msa, just hide the preview pane or switch to another tab in preview pane (EXIF/...) or don't click on the image but click in a free space and make a rectangle for selection -- 3 possibilities to avoid to load each thumb.

When the option "Camera RAW" in reading mode is set "High Quality" and we are selecting somes thumbnails (Ctrl+Left Click) for do (cut/paste/delete/move/etc...) the small preview of the current thumbnail take VERY long time to be previewed (undecode RAW file). My propose is :
