When browsing thumbnail images, I used to be able to do this ....
[Shift]+Tab ....... Delete ..... Return
it doesn't work in MP ! makes cleaning up old projects much more time consuming

In terms of "pruning" thumbs for deleted files, I don't see why a removable drive causes a problem. If folder "X:/a/b/" is online but file "X:/a/b/c.jpg" isn't, then ........

Can it not store thumbnail keyed by a hash of .... [filename + crc of first 10K] ... or [ filename + filesize + moddate ] or something? Ignoring paths completely?
All you need to do is avoid "false matches" and some variation on the above hashes should achieve that just as well (..or better) than ...

Request: RANDOM sorting
So I have a huge folder of images, for example texture maps,
I'd like to be able to see (sort) them in a random fashion. It should be random each time I open the folder.
If it could be implemented that would be great, it's probably niche, but some people may find a use,
