Rename multiple folders of files but reset numbering for each folder?
Having a large number of photo sets
Example:
[Folders]
Flowers Set 1
Flowers Set 2
Flowers Set 3
Use find *. to find all the files that reside in each set folder, do <Folder name> ###
Now to the question, this will order all files to be numbered in order, but i was wondering if it is possible to ...

Re: Batch processing images, skip waiting for generating met
Nevermind my previous post, that was just a fluke for some reason.
Generating "Type" meta cannot be skipped! Large images take around 1 second to process 5 "type", imagine having 20 000 images you wish to rename and it takes 1 second for 5 images to process... that's a lot of wasted time for ...

Re: Batch processing images, skip waiting for generating met
Both acts exactly the same, list and details...
But!
It appears if i have details, it starts doing whatever loading thing it does, i switch to list... it starts loading again, then i switch back to details and i have no load time, not a nice solution but i guess that works somehow, i have no idea ...

Re: Batch processing images, skip waiting for generating met
i guess not, to bad :/ really annoying having to wait 5 minutes when doing work on large amount of images :/ perhaps a feature for the future to disable the scanning of embedded meta data as some users may not want to see it anyway.

Batch processing images, skip waiting for generating meta?
Hi,
I often use XNview to batch rename my images in various ways, xnview is absolutely wonderful in this regard, however i do have a question.
Everytime i open a folder with 1000 images and i want to rename them, there's a "process bar" down in the right corner, i do not know what this process is ...

Re: Idea: Enhancements to 'Quick Slideshow'
Great ideas, would love to see me some pan & zoom effects for slideshow!
Another thing i would love that may go hand in hand with the pan&zoom effect is to have the application always "fill" the screen with image so there's no black borders ever.
For tall images on a widescreen ofcourse it's going ...

Re: Anyway to generate slideshow from path using a shortcut?
realized xnview was better then most other program and already had this feature when you save as slideshow
in slideshow.sld just add
"F:\Pictures\Wallpapers\"-
"F:\Pictures\Wallpapers2\"-
or you can use the UI to add folders

Pan & Zoom slideshow effects addon?
Would be cool if xnview featured the classic pan & zoom effects in slideshow.
Would also be cool if there was a feature to always zoom image (in case too small for current resolution) to fit the entire screen (but keeping the aspect ratio).
Keep up the great work!

Anyway to generate slideshow from path using a shortcut?
Hi,
With XNview in windows is there anyway to generate a slideshow in random order from path?
Like use some kind of cmd switches, lets say something like this for the shortcut
"C:\Program Files (x86)\XnView\xnview.exe" +slideshow +random "H:\Pictures\Wallpapers\"
Anyone know? I would love to ...
