Just now, i tried reinstalling it again, default config, no db again. Started labeling files, everything went good, after a few program restarts, i labeled 3 random files, was about to exit when i got the "configm session save" dialog, clicked on don't save session, program closed, i restarted it ...

Well i don't know, for me it happens 90% of the time when labeling files, my hope when opening this thread was that someone more technical will notice this problem and can find a reliable way to reproduce it for everybody.
All i know is, even with default config, fresh db, i open a folder with pics ...

Nah i don't have backup, i had one after updating to 0.60 and 0.61 but after i saw that everything was fine, i deleted it.

That's exactly how i use labels and that's also exactly how i found out my labels were gone on a ton of images and since i didn't notice it right away, i've deleted my backup db as well
The bigger problem is that the dev says he cannot reproduce this bug so i don't know if its gonna get fixed.

Well if that happens all the time then its awesome, the developer will finally be able to reproduce and fix it.

For me at least, it did not solve it even by recreating a new database from scratch, with all xnview mp settings reset to default, still had it happen.
It's nice to see someone else can reproduce it in one way or the other, it might be connected to the bug i've submitted, so even better. It might be ...

I noticed now that, i don't even have to use "copy to" or "edit with" on files, labels just won't stick. Tried in a folder with 1059 files... labeled the 900th one (don't know exactly but one towards the end of the list) then restarted xnviewmp, blue color label gone.

Nope, i did mention this in my very first post though. I have no problems with labels in folders where there are few files, lets say less then 40 jpg's. Most of the folders i have contain more than 600, most over 1000 photos. But when i wanted to try this, i copied like 20 images to a new folder ...

Well i kinda expected that, since no one else reported this problem so far, i guess its a problem on my end, but i don't know what

I made a backup for the database and config files, and then deleted them all, xnviewmp too, then i downloaded it again and reinstalled it fresh. Same thing keeps happening, color labels keep disappearing after program restart :|

If really no one has this problem, maybe someone can give me some tips ...
