It's just faster with the mouse compared to reaching for the esc key and you don't need the keyboard just to exit the program. Working with the keyboard is _always_ faster than with the mouse. To increase readability add a space before the parenthesis:

[FLAG] German (Deutsch)
[FLAG] Blablabla (Blablabla)
[FLAG] Blah (Blah)
[FLAG] ... (...)

Even if they aren't aligned, that's fine too.
Usually the language is only set once, so that's fine.

I only use English, but this is a good step towards making the interface clean.

I ran into the same problem. I also deleted the directory in which the AddOn was installed.
And then I tried:

Tools -> PlugIns...

[Install] Face tagging.

Now works. After installing it, try looking in YouMPCongifDirectory\AddOns\
