I'd like there to be a mode that allows you to maximise images in a Window so that there are no controls and no borders forcing the image to scale down. Many video players do this - play video to the border and have fading/hover-over controls for navigating. See screenshots for an example ...

I notice that if I crop an image and navigate away, a dialog box appears saying "Do you want to save changes to 'XXXX.jpg'?" With a tickbox giving you an option to "Never ask again".

If the tickbox is ticked, indicating you DO NOT want to be prompted to confirm changes next time you edit ...

Whenever I navigate away from a picture or folder that I have rated/categorised, the information disappears.

I believe it worked originally, but has recently stopped working. The only difference is that the files are on a pen drive now (writeable).

Anyone have any ideas why it's doing ...

Currently the first picture that shows is the icon for going up a directory. It seems to adhere to thumb resizing, but is a nuisance because it takes up a picture slot. Is there a way to remove these altogether? I have searched high and low but can't find a setting anywhere.

The file explorer doesn't seem to update after moving files around from within XnViewMP. I read that there is a keyboard shortcut to refresh (CTRL-R), but this doesn't work (I think it must be for XNView Classic).

Is this a bug, or am I missing a setting or something?

There is an option on the context menu to move or copy a picture/folder in the right hand pane. Is it possible to have this same context menu option added to the tree view? I have to juggle with explorer to move things as I am browsing - it's a bit of a ...
