Thank you, I was also able to reproduce on a different computer with my .ini and a new one.
I see that you have already fixed it and it is in testing phase, nice work.

No issue with Create thumbnails for the whole folder set to TRUE. I just did more tests and found something interesting that is not related to the number of files in the folder. I have an empty folder with just one TXT file and Create thumbnails for the whole folder set to FALSE. If I set Settings >...

I would like that by going to next picture, the default setting ( Fit image to window, large only in my case) is used. In my opinion the / key and * key should be used together with + key and - key as a temporary way to inspect a single image and revert back to the default behavior the moment you go...
