I have same problem in the 0.7.6.1 x64.
I use Windows 10 x64.
I try with a clean .ini, and not use font scaling, but still have the problem.
0.7.2 don't have the problem, I have to roll back to that version.
I hope the problem ...

Do you have started it with admin rights?
Me,too.
I start XnConvert as admin rights, and checked the option "Add Convert with XnConvert to context menu" but nothing changes on my OS.
(I'm using Win8.1 x64 and XnConvert x64 v1.66)
What should I do?
