the '...' to shrink is enough, or it's better that have a setting to not shrink at startup?
Can't it do "toggle"? Sometimes it's better to have it shrink, sometimes it's better to have it expanded.
Of course, if you want to spoil us like a little child getting ice-cream every day - the last ...

Re: tree explorer doesn't refresh
Hi Pierre,
Strangely - I can't reproduce it now. I am almost 100% sure I did it in XnViewMP, but... Itried both in MP and in Explorer (and Totalcommander as the matter of fact) - but it behaves now as it should be. Real time, as soon as I paste the folders in another place - they are not visible in ...

Don't know should I post here or here:
http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=30839&p=122748&hilit=refresh+folder+tree#p122748
but as I am on Version 0.72 x64, maybe this would be the more appropriate topic. As the matter of fact - it doesn't matter - as long as someone read it :)

Re: Cut & Paste
Hi all,
I almost posted a false issue, but then I made some experiments, and it looks like it is a semi-issue :)
If you double click on the Folder tree and make it floating - both drag'n'drop and ctrl+C/X/V doesn't work.

Folder Rename in Folder Tree Panel
Hi,
In the folder tree panel, if you want to rename a folder, you should right-click it, then choose rename. Right?
No. You have to SELECT it first, and then right-click it, and then choose rename.
This is not a bug, but do you agree that it has one step that we can live without?

Categories - Wrong Import Order
Hi all,
I know that I risk to bore all of you with my "Categories tree" questions, but actually I want to share a (temporary?) solution also.
If I import a category tree, the first main category is placed - last. (zero should be in front of 1)

Re: How Do I Backup XnViewMP?
Hi all,
When you install the XnViewMP, you can choose the location for db and some other files.
One of the options is a "User" folder, the other is a "Program" folder.
I have chosen the "Prg" folder, and yet - the MP stores the files in the "User" folder?
Is it my PC or does anyone else have the ...

Re: Categories - Expand and Shrink Tree
Hi all,
when I wrote "be gentle" - I didn't mean "don't post in my topic" :)
Kidding.
So - just to inform you that you can shrink all the sub-categories just by clicking the "..." button.
I don't know is it a new feature, or was it there before.

Re: Edit Dark Theme
Hi,
I almost posted a new topic, but then I found this one.
In the dark theme, the Preview background is white.
I suppose it could be changed in black or dark, but what is a exact code?
I tried:
Preview
PreviewVindow...
Preview {
background-color: rgb(90, 90, 90);
}
Thanks in advance,
Cheers ...

Hi all,
my first post, so be gentle :)
First let me thank Pierre for all the effort and time spent on XnView.
Wonderful work, great program, and as I see, great support. The interaction also, as many of the users are communicating with developer(s).
That encouraged me to ask my question:
