Re: 0.93 regressions?

1) To reproduce... Create a preset in the batch converter. Make sure you change the JPG settings also... (Quality, Optimize Huffman table, DCT Method etc...) Save preset. Select images in thumbs view, right click, choose batch convert. JPG settings are back to default. Load your preset. JPG settings...

0.93 regressions?

Not sure if these are 0.93 regressions... 1) The batch converter loses some settings every time I open it. e.g. JPEG Format settings. I have to re-load my Batch Convert preset again, every time now. 2) Create a New Folder (from within XNV-MP) and start typing a name. It doesn't delete the 'New Folde...

0.90: Batch Convert to Guetzli JPEG, does not produce files

[xnview MP v0.90, Windows x64]

Hello,

The Batch Converter does not produce the JPG files, when the Format is set to JPG - Guetzli JPEG. The process shows that it completes successfully, and that the files are produced, but they are not.

Thanks

Batch Rename panel suggestions

Some suggestions for the Batch Rename panel - Resizable main thumbnail panel. - Show thumbnails in the images list. - Move to top/bottom buttons (similar to move up/down). - Different colors for Old name, New name, Directort columns. - Allow to skip processing files from the list (e.g. when auto-num...

Re: 0.76: Batch rename thumbnail enlarges constantly

Hello, this is still happening in 0.83.

Very simple to duplicate...

1) Select a bunch of photos.

2) Choose batch rename from the menu.

3) Start selecting different images from the list, also nudging them up/down.

Watch the top part of the panel enlarge by a few pixels each time.

Thanks

Cut, Copy, Paste file improvements

Some improvements for cut/copy/paste file operations: 1) Selecting files and cutting (Ctrl+X), should somehow indicate that the files will be removed from source location after paste. Windows does this by making file icons semi-transparent after selecting Cut. XnView should have a similar visual mar...

Create directory

Hello,

I would like to ask for "create directory" functionality:

1) Through menus.

2) Via the system shortcut (Ctrl+Shift+N on windows)

Thank you

Filter by image size

Hello, I often browse folders which contain some content I don't want to view. I would like an option to be able to view images only from a minimum resolution and up, or a max resolution or less. This will either remove the thumbnails and icons and leave the larger images, or remove the large and on...

0.78MP [Win]: Drag and drop photos copies instead of moving

Hello, When dragging-and-dropping files from the file-folder view, the files are copied -not moved- as is the default behavior in Windows. In Windows file explorer, files that belong to the same volume (partition) are moved with D&D. (This took me a while to figure out, at first I thought it was a f...

Re: Save to relative path?

Thanks, I now realized you need to do that in the Filename field.

For others having the same problem, set the Output option to Folder and leave it blank.
Then in the Filename field below, set the relative path.

Works great now, thanks.

Save to relative path?

[v0.76] Hello, In the batch convert panel, I want to be able to save the files in a relative path/folder, to where the original images are. Unfortunately, when I select output 'Source Folder', I have no other options. When I select 'Folder', I do not know how to save relative to source, the images e...

0.76: Batch convert, disappearing filters

Hello, In the Batch Convert function, I have some of the filters unchecked (i.e. disabled) some of the time. I find that in some cases, the disabled filters will later disappear from the list. Cannot pinpoint exactly the scenarios this happens, probably when I invoke the dialog a later time, or when...

Batch rename suggestions

[based on v0.76] Hello, I really like the batch rename tool in XnViewMP. I use it to add custom numbering to image filenames, but I am missing a few of features... 1) Allow to exclude images (from renaming, numbering etc...). A simple checkbox next to each file would do. I know I could just select t...
