Converting bmp to pdf = pdf file size 2 MB LARGER than bmp
Hi. I scanned a color document and saved it as a .bmp (24 MB) then used batch convert to go from that to pdf using jpeg compression. It worked great and depending on the quality setting I could end up with a nice looking pdf that was a little over 1 MB. I did the exact same thing with a grayscale ...

Find and Replace IPTC tags or keywords
I have about 4000 pictures that my dad has been tagging. He's getting up there in age and some physical ailments make it hard for him to type or move the mouse, and so during tagging he made some mistakes. I've been searching the web, high and low, for a program that can find a keyword across ...

Re: Categories Filter - pics missing thumbnails
I answered my own question. I had moved a lot of the files so it was looking for them in a place they no longer were. Once I right clicked on my main folder and chose "show all files (recursive)" it seemed to rebuild all the categories. Thanks, me!!!

Categories Filter - pics missing thumbnails
Not sure what I am doing wrong here but most of the categories I click on come up without thumbnails, except for a few photos here and there, such as the ones in this screen shot. It seems totally random to me. Is this normal behaviour?

Re: Include subfolder in quick search
I will second the addition of this feature. My dad is not computer savvy at all and so for him to go into the full-fledged search window is kind of daunting (not to mention slow). It would be awesome if quick search would search sub-folders. As it is now, I am forced to have a second copy of all my ...

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I uploaded 2 pics to dropbox, hopefully that works for you.

Re: xnviewmp - search iptc:keywords "is any of"
That's kinda what I thought it meant but I just can't seem to get any results. For example, in first screenshot (below) I use "contains" and find 6 pictures with both the keywords "cake" and "november".

xnviewmp - search iptc:keywords "is any of"
Hi, I am enjoying using xnview, so Thank You! I'm a little confused about the search option "is any of". I'm searching IPTC keywords but I never get any results using "is any of." I must not understand what "is any of" means. I'm using Version 0.72 x64 (Dec 19 2014).
Thanks!
Thanks!
