The issue still exists and the characters are too small to see. The length of the filename is 22.

XnView: MP 0.97 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 7 - 64-bit

Effect: Filename extension is not the same as the current opened image when executing Save As.

To reproduce:
1. Open an image file (PNG)
2. Exec 'Save As'
3. The file type is the last used type (JPG)

Expected behaviour: The default file types should ...

XnView can't open images which file names contain Simplified Chinese characters.
XnView 'Classic' doesn't support Unicode...

You can use XnViewMP, which is still in beta but developing well, if it has the functions you need...

XnView can't open images which file names contain Simplified Chinese characters.
