i found only the option via mouse button to "show files recursive"
problem is that displaying all pictures in one page takes endless memory and is thus not working
so can i build catalog from a dir without displaying the pics and will run on my 20gb ram machine?

Poor performance while cataloging
I am on a dir with about 10.000 jpg each about 1mb
pc is i7 with 4 cores + ht on 20gg
hdd is sdd so basically 200mb transfer speed 0ms
I selected 800x800 thumbnails and speed was about 8 pics/s wich is very poor
os is win 8.1
any chance to improve or is 8 files/s somewhat a hardlimit?
