I'm using XnView 0.82 x64 and Linux Mint 18 64 bit.
First error:
------------
1. Start XnViewMP and select for example "Test.mp4" (non image file)
2. Set rating e.g. 5
3. Klick at menu "View->Update files from catalog"
=> Result: XnViewMP creates a file "Test.xmp" with 0 bytes! (first error)

How can I copy categories from a selected image into another image?
For example: I want to select a image and copy all categories via the context menu into clipboard. Now i right click on another image and via the context menu select "Add new categories" or "Replace all categories".

but it doesn't work. It seems that XnViewMP always writes all file names and file properties (e.g. width, height, etc.) from the current folder (browser view) to the database.

My "XnView.db" file grows continously and reached already the size of over 500 MB (and there is no end in sight), although only a hundred files have tags (categories).

I have an NFS mount (NAS: Synology DS214play), in XnViewMP I can read,copy&paste,rename and move files and folders on my NFS share, but I can't delete a file/folder whatever I do (no crashes or error messages). Last weekend i tried to import all my files (~200 000) into XnViewMP 0.72 (64-bit).
