Re: First start cancelling in Configuration Wizard
IMHO "Cancel" should cancels the currently done settings, not the app. Example:you have started to change some settings and then you decide to use the defaults - what to do? You press "Cancel", the dialogue will be cancelled and the software continues ... If I have started to change some settings, ...

Re: Windows 10 and XnView's window
How actually XnView does adjust interface to detected DPI changes? What DPI-related code you added except for declaring application as DPI-aware in manifest? Given the fact that 2.36 still runs on Windows 2000 you don't seem to use any functions from Shcore.dll like GetDpiForMonitor and others. Writ...

Re: First start cancelling in Configuration Wizard
Usually when user does not want to customize settings and is happy with default, he just clicks OK. Cancel should cancel application start.

2.36: How to corrupt Viewer's interface
I have discovered structural flaw in XnView functioning by making one slight wrong move of pointing finger. This is how XnView's Viewer window may look if you intentionally repeat this slight wrong move few times. Left corner: http://s22.postimg.org/uarzoyev5/left.png Right corner: http://s22.postim...

Re: Mass licensing of XnView
Your registry path does not look like paths used in registry virtualization. You have "SOFTWARE" between "User SID" and "Classes", when in examples it is "<User SID>_Classes". I guess you need to have key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\XnView and make sure virtualization for this key is allowed. Here: ...

Re: Color Shift On Preview, Raw Size Change To Half
Why does dcraw output have a green tint and weak color? Because dcraw doesn't have a color matrix for your camera model, it outputs raw color instead of sRGB. To fix this, I need a photo of a Wolf Faust, ColorChecker, CMP, or other calibrated color chart. Follow this checklist: Use a real chart, no...

Re: Add text
Did you mean you click Tools->Add text in XnView MP? In XnView (Classic) you have to click Image->Add text, and it works fine.

Re: Small toolbar icons on HiDPI 4k display
If they had fixed Large toolbar icons issue then you may try to use second set of 48px icons. Or you may fill request for dynamic rendering of icons for any resolution from SVG source.

Hmmm, when I draw horns, glasses, beards and cigars on portraits in local library's books all my edits stay there without any extra efforts from my side, so I don't know, you're asking too hard questions...

XnView can't open created folder after Batch Processing
I needed to resize lots of pictures from Z:\Path\To\My\Images\original with Xnview 2.36. I have selected them all in Browser, Tools->Batch Processing... Set format to JPG, set Transformations to Resize, set "Close dialog after conversion" and "Open output folder in XnView". Clicked directory picker ...

Still not fixed in Libformat version 6.90 (XnConvert Version 1.73). Two times converted provided .pic file, got two different pictures as result.

I can't confirm this issue because I don't use databases and descriptions. Good thing is it works at least partially. Explaining details is probably beyond the scope of developer's tasks.

Re: Crash while browsing unrecognized format image
Hope when this bug will be fixed, it will be fixed in XnView Classic too, although I very rarely meet Mac format pictures. From Classic's point of view this file has broken area around right top corner of image. If you have this file and another image file, png for example, in same folder and start ...

Re: Add "Use gamma correction" to Resize dialog
