Thanks for the advice. I checked the associations in XnView before re-installing the Yahoo update. These were all unticked except .wbz (I use the program to read files downloaded from the Webshots site).

I have had a problem since BT Yahoo updated their browser in that XnView freezes after opening a picture. The program opens and displays the file tree and the contents of a selected album as normal, but double clicking any thumbnail opens that picture, then the program freezes. To exit the program I ...
