Re: Random crashes when playing MP4 video in separate tab and going to next file on 1.6.2 (Windows, x64)
Can I get the 1.6.4 Beta as well to see if this fixes my issues. I still get crashes from time to time with the official 1.6.3.

Re: Random crashes when playing MP4 video in separate tab and going to next file on 1.6.2 (Windows, x64)
Unfortunately, I just had a new crash with 1.6.3. when switching back and forth between back to back videos. My CPU load when doing this was high from a calculation that was running in the background, but that should not have caused the freeze.

Re: Random crashes when playing MP4 video in separate tab and going to next file on 1.6.2 (Windows, x64)
@pierre: The beta version you sent me seems to have fixed this issue, at least I had no more crashes for quite a long time.
Thank you for your efforts to fix this so quickly.
EDIT: Unfortunately, I just had a new crash with 1.6.3. However, this version still seems to be more stable.

I am also 99% sure that this did not happen with previous versions. I got your PM and will report back.
I also just found that selecting different videos (JPGs as well) in the browser (with a single click) when the ExifTool info tab is open produces a noticeable and quite annoying delay, I'd say ...

Random crashes when playing MP4 video in separate tab and going to next file on 1.6.2 (Windows, x64)
Description
Switching to the next file (can be a picture or video) during playback of an MP4 video, XnView MP 1.6.2. randomly freezes and needs to be force closed. Sometimes the freeze happens right away 5 times in a row, sometimes it takes a few minutes to reproduce.

Re: 1.3.1.: Renaming videos produces error when video is open in tab
This was fixed in 1.4.2 for the browser, i.e., I can now rename videos when they are not open in their own tab. However, if the video is already opened in its own tab, there is still above mentioned pop up saying: "An error occured during renaming."
I understand that the video stream must be closed ...

Re: 1.3.1.: Renaming videos produces error when video is open in tab
Upon rename, the stream would need to be closed and then reopened, wouldn't it?

Re: xnview mp 0.84 is fast, 0.85 is slow
I just tested XnViewMP 0.84 vs the current version (0.98.x) myself and I can confirm the threat author's findings: Launching into XnViewMP by double clicking a single small JPEG image in an otherwise empty directory takes about 2 seconds with the current version while it is almost instant with 0.84 ...

MP 0.72: Wrong numbers when changing DPI via resize dialog
Hi,
changing the DPI of an PNG image in XnView MP 0.72 via the Image->Resize... produces wrong numbers in the image dimensions when Resample is unchecked and the user enters a resolution he wants to rescale the image to. Also, the status bar at the bottom did not display the correct dimensions for ...
