What’s wrong with using the built in “Open in file manager” function on the right click menu, that does exactly that?

I want a "open image in folder" option to get explorer to open in the images' folder, with the image selected.
explorer /select,"filename" would do the trick.
However, when I add explorer as a program, with /select, as a parameter, it opens explorer in C:\

When doing a Save as, after the save, the original file is still opened and the new file is not open. This is counterintuitive and dangerous because then it is likely we overwrite our original picture, thinking we're working on the copy.

In settings General > File operations, with "Save as copy for 'Save' action" activated, doing a Save As still creates a separate copy of the file and the viewer stays with the original file.

When we do a Save As we expect to save the current work to a new file, that the old file is closed and the editor stays with the new file.

I have CTRL F4 as the shortcut for closing tabs yet Esc closes the current tab, and closes the app is there's only one tab.
I want Esc to do nothing.

The shortcut for CLOSE TAB is CTRL F4, yet Esc closes tabs!!!

In case others have had problems with this, I just found a handy workaround: adding file:/// before the path makes it usable in Windows dialogs. At least in Windows 10.
