Tree list not updating with \\server\ UNC paths

Either this is a longtime bug (4 years or so) or I'm overlooking something in the preference.

In Browser mode I cannot get the file tree to update when I pasted a UNC path into the path textField. Like, \\server01\photos\ . The tre does not expand to that folder. It does if I do C:\ or anything ...

It doesn't need to analyze the ...

Multi-Part OpenEXR fail to open

Hi..

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if XNView just doesn't support opening multi-part OpenEXR yet.
XNView can open the old layered EXRs but fails to do so with "multi-part" EXRs. When processing image sequences with tools like After Effects or Nuke (when you're compositing basically), Multi-part ...

Save and Export to JPG inconsistant..

Hi..

XNView 1.96.1
Test file: a TGA with a black background with an alpha (RGBA).

If I show this in the viewer, it shows as expected .. no problem there. I found the following inconsistancy however..
If I do 'File > Save' or 'Save as' to JPG... The alpha gets subracted from the overall image which ...

OpenEXR files don't load

Hi..

I'm not sure why but for some reason none of the OpenEXR files I generate using the 3d packages Maya and/or XSI can be opened by XnView B5. The files open fine in Photoshop or Digital Fusion.

I keep getting the error,
" Format of the file <Yada> could not be determined. "

1.84 seems to have ...
