could you make a screen record?
The problem is that I cannot reproduce this behaviour but it does happen to often.
Unfortunately I do not have a clue why it sometimes does not properly stores the ratings.
Just tested the same procedure as last evening a couple of times and it works like it ...

Thank you for the Tip, I restarted XnviewMp, browsed to the right folder, set the filter to excellent, then hit F11 and then hitting Page Down is indeed according to the filter. Very happy with this knowledge!

Hi Helmut,
The new files are created with a a windows explorer on a local USB drive or Local D drive. I'm using the latest XnViewMp: 0.85 and Windows 10 with the latest update.

Thanks for the tip,
I did not realize that I could change the middle mouse button behaviour. Changed it to zoom so it is not such a problem any more if I rotate by accident in crop mode.
Personally I prefer the keyboard for jumping up and down the photo library so this indeed fixes my problem.
