The correct behaviour in the old version was:
- if the image was "fit to window" -> a click zoomed-in (to the cursor) to 100%, then you could drag-move the pic around, until the button release zoomed ...

There seems to be a different behaviour with "Zoom & move" tho.

In older versions, if the image was already zoomed in, left click just moved it around.
Now instead it zooms out (?)

Could you please leave the zoom-in, but stop the zoom-out?
Otherwise the "move" option ...

Oh, this was bugging me too.
Explorer doesn't do it, so why should Xnview?

When updating to v1.7.0 I lost a feature that I found useful, expecially when comparing similar images.
In the old version i could click any part of a picture to temporarly zoom-in to real size and zoom-out (back to fit view) on release.
It was way faster than using any zoom control.

Umm.. I didn't find such entry in the config file (v1.6.4).
I tried adding maxCharsFilename=100 under [Browser], but nothing changed.

Could you please allow custom labels in the Crop size list?
I'd like to specify if the sizes are horizontal or vertical for a quick selection.
Also, swap the ratio info: 1.78 (16:9) --> 16:9 (1.78)

Example:
horiz - 16:9 (1.78)
horiz - 1280x720
horiz - 1920x1080
horiz - 2560x1440
vert - 9:16 (0.56 ...

The are some issues with this feature (existing since many versions).
- ratio sizes are swapped (e.g: 16:9 creates a 9:16 selection)
- pixel sizes don't show in the button when selected (they reset to Free)

Browser mode - "Thumbnails + details" view

Why there's a second column with the long file type.. can it be removed?
Also, is the file info shown here customizable like in "Thumbnails + Labels"? (the single-column view could be useful for long filenames)

Could you please extend the filename's maximum characters in the status bar?
It's always limited to like 40 even if there's plenty of space on modern displays.

It would be useful when scrolling pics in browsing mode with thumbnails.
(I know there are other modes and views, but they're different ...

Ok, posted, with the difference from explorer.
It's like it's grouping some characters together, thus showing more spaces in the word.
