Take about 125'000 pictures, then position XnViewMP to display them. At about 66% of all pictures XnViewMP took about 64GiB RAM, bringing the system nearly to halt. The system did not crash, but it just did not do anything anymore either until it was reset.

"open with …" is configurable for files. Would be nice to have it configurable for folders too.

XnViewMP might take minutes to hours starting if the directory it starts is mounted from a share (regardless if smb or nfs). XnViewMP will sit there doing nothing, not even using up CPU time.

If XnViewMP is started browsing directories it might happen it sits there doing nothing. No menu, no button highlighting, just nothing. CPU cycles used are below 0,1% if at all. The only thing you can do wait up to half an hour, or kill it. Starting XnViewMP a second time may lead to the very same ...

If Images are changed in background by some script reading and writing tags XnView MP 0.92 may crash updating browser view.

If you selected to delete items to trash instead deleting them directly (just in case you'd deleted in error), this does not work any more with Ubuntu 18.10 or Debian testing. There is a difference between XnView MP and XnView Classic:
editing IPTC/XMP data with XnView allows to only replace non empty fields, or all fields filled. XnView MP does only allow to replace empty fields. It would be nice to have some way to select what to replace.

From time to time thumbnails in browser view are out of sync to files. The shown picture in browsers thumbnails are not taken from the file, but from pictures cached.
