Allow "drag tab" move the tab out of one instance
Right now, with" "allow only one application instance"" checked, all the tabs are always grouped together. It is impossible to have multiple instance even you want to see them temporarily. Possible to make it behave like Chrome browser allowing "drag tab" to move one tab out of the one instance ...

Re: Add the command of "convert filetype"
You are right, but can you do better than MS photos?
provide greater convenience by providing a command to combine this "save as" and "delete" function to one step?

Add the command of "convert filetype"
As far as I know, the current way to convert a file type (e.g. bmp to jpg) in Xnview is to "save as" and "delete" the original file. Is it possible to add a command to allow this to be done in one step? The MS photos app sets a nice example as seen below. File converter function is embed in the ...

Update "Open in file explorer" button
The naming of "Open in file explorer" is not straightforward, which can imply to open either a file or a folder. In addition, there is no icon assigned to this button.
The software "Pdf-Xchange" sets a great style to follow. I suggest renaming to "Open containing folder" and add an icon.

Re: Font issue in 4K rusolution screen
I am still using 250% scaling. The issue went away today itself. Weird.

Re: Font issue in 4K rusolution screen
Interesting. That solves the problem of Xnview, but make the global font in Win10 become smaller.
Since the 250% scale is the default option in Windows, I suggest optimizing Xnview to fit Win10 instead of doing it conversely.

Re: Make it possible to add icon for built-in commands
Not sure why a graphist is needed. Instead of offering a native icon, just let the end-users to add their own. Of course, you can have a graphist to design a icon in parallel.

Re: Show file name fully in the titlebar/taskbar
Thanks for the reply. I found XnView MP and other software (e.g. IrfanView) can show the file name first.
However, XnView classic is still my most favorite since it the fastest to open a file. Is there any way to add the XnView MP feature to XnView classic?

Show file name fully in the titlebar/taskbar
Due to the width limit of the task button, the file names are always hided to make space for the software name - "XnView Cla...". This is apparently not an informative way to show the picture information. It would be great if XnView has an option to display current file name with or without the ...

Highlight the pdf file
Without checking the file name shown on the top right corner, it is very hard to tell that the file opened is a pdf or picture file. A file might be mis-deleted due to an oversight of the file type. Hopefully, an option of showing a label of pdf or highlighting the file type can be provided.
Thanks.
