Re: No Refresh, metadata missing

External app: RPP — RawPhotoProzessor macOS

But even if I for example scale an image down with an external image editor and save it as a JPEG to the same folder, the data are missing, until I switch directories back and forth.

Re: No Refresh, metadata missing

Yes, only in XnView MP I have XnView MP open, see the thumbnails. Pick a RAW file and convert it with the converter in a small windos, so I still see the thumbnails. Then I see the new image added to the thumbnail list, but file information is missing. Even a »refresch (F5)« will not show the missin...

Re: No Refresh, metadata missing

No, I didn't change the metadata, not in XnViewMP, not in the image editor (PhotoLine).

This also happens if I convert a RAW image with RPP which saves the TIF to the same folder — no EXIF data in the converted file.

How to edit and copy thumbnail index

I've purchased a new external HD, where I copied all image from my main external (FireWire 800) HD to. I tried it with XnView, hoping it will also copy the thumbnails or links to thumbnails, but it doesn't. So I copied the image directories and file with »Finder« to the new HD. Now my question: Wher...

Re: Copy settings to new computer

cday, thanks for your information. I can see the location of the files by clicking the path location button — but only on the current (new) machine. And I see that it is a hidden folder: .config/... Though I already had a new image database generated on the new machine, I will try to copy the layout...

Re: Copy settings to new computer

I didn't modify the standard settings, but the settings should be stored in the »Library« — somewhere. But I don't know where and maybe someone can give me a hint.

Refresh (F5) function not working

I'm running XnView MP for OS X, v 0.93 The Refresh (F5) function does not work. New images from a scanner or RAW converter are not visible at the end of the file list in the browser window. I have to select a different folder and then return to the actual folder to see them. It's kind of annoying. M...

Re: severe batch convert bug

Pierre, I've edited the xnview.ini - now everything seems to be perfect. There were two paths to folders in History= which I deleted. In the folder I've found a hidden .xnviewmp folder. I moved it to the desktop and restarted xnview - it still works. So it seems that the hidden folder is not needed ...

Re: weird menu...

Same problem with 0.88.

I am just dragging some images into an image editor and save them back as TIFF or JPEG, XnView in the background.
