Re: XnConvert included in XnViewMP?
Thank you for the helpful reply. So I will uninstall XnConvert as I use XnView for almost all picture-related stuff anyway and I don't even need to remember anything because it is open most of the time. What I miss in XnViewMP is the simple photo stitching / merging to make a small collection. I thi...

XnConvert included in XnViewMP?
Hi!
I just need some clarification.
XnConvert is completely included in XnViewMP (Tools --> Batch conversion) so I do not need to install both of them, right?
Features and fixes will be made in XnViewMP first and then propagated to standalone?
Best regards,
Hanswurst

Re: 0.85: Naming of config files: default.bar and default.keys
I just had to fiddle around with those files after moving to a new PC and having some rights management problems and I can just second Helmut's request.
Additionally the file extensions .bar and .keys are uncommon and misleading.

Probably.
But I'm trying not to ruin my fresh Win10 install by using RegEdit or ShellExt tools right now

Re: Cannot open .webp directly from explorer
Drag'n'drop on the xnview.exe works fine.
XnView MP also works fine. I'll probably stick to it.
However if you are interested in debugging this, I'm here to help.

Re: Not more WebP -Support in v. 2.45
Yeah so there should be done something about it?! Current situation is you installed Standard XnView 2.48, want to add webp support. You download the webp.zip and extract it as instructed to the Plugins folder. It doesn't work, because you have to rename the dll. Three solution suggestions: - Make X...

Re: Not more WebP -Support in v. 2.45
This means I manually downloaded it, but couldn't apply it because I didn't know that I have to rename the downloaded file.
Did I miss any instructions?

Re: Not more WebP -Support in v. 2.45
Just had the same issue. I don't remember if I manually downloaded webp plugin, but renaming the file from webp.dll to libwebp.dll worked well in XnView Classic 2.48.
Maybe the linked dll file above should be renamed?
Thank you for the info!

Silent crash when merging images from fullscreen
Hi, may be an edge case, but reproducible. 1. Choose Options > General > Operations > Mode when starting with a file [Fullscreen - Edit] 2. Choose Options > View > View > Only one window view opened [checked], ok and close program 3. Open an image from windows explorer (it's in fullscreen now) 4. Op...

Re: Color picker strange results
So... if you don't change it from #AARRGGBB to #RRGGBBAA, then please relabel it and make it clear. Maybe separate it as suggested in the thread posted by XnTriq. It's definitely not HTML and you can't use it in CSS, as the living standard is #RRGGBBAA there. And that's actually still a draft for on...

Color picker strange results
The color of the attatched picture is HEX #717173 or RGB (113, 113, 115) (255 could be added for alpha channel). If I inspect it with the color picker of XnView classic 2.43, it tells me RGB (71, 71, 73, 255) and HTML (#FF474749). That's wrong. The # suggests that HTML is the HEX representative, whi...
