Re: Question about Catalog
yes, but you copy/move from which folder to which folder?
From Catalog to any other folder on C:/ (I mean to folders which are not included).
Moving a file was just an example. If I edit an image in a folder (which is not among those included), that folder gets added automatically to Catalog ...

Re: Question about Catalog
This is how Excluded/Included looks like:
Excluded - C:\
Included - C:\folder1\_x1\
Included - C:\folder1\_x2\
Included - C:\folder1\_x3\
Included - C:\folder2\_y1\
Included - C:\folder2\_y2\

Re: Question about Catalog
No, I do not.
I have 2 folders with several sub-folders each. 5 of those sub-folders are in Catalog.
Since they are different paths I don't even know how to use 'base path'.

Question about Catalog
Folders are added automatically to Catalog.
My settings:
drive C: is set to "Excluded"
5 folders on drive C:\ are set to "Included"
As soon as I interact (e.g. move a file) from Catalog to another folder on drive C:\ that folder gets added automatically to Catalog.
This behavior is not related to ...

Re: How do I do a lossless jpg crop?
Many thanks!
I should learn to use the software before asking for help.
I didn't make the selection first. With the selection done the option isn't grayed out and lossless croping works fine.

Re: How do I do a lossless jpg crop?
Ressurecting an old thread. :)
I'm a long-time user of XnViewMP which is my default image viewer. However for processing images I'm using mostly GIMP.
Long story cut short - I'd like to make a lossless crop of a JPG with XnView.
Under Tools: JPEG lossless operations there are only options for ...

Thanks for testing.
I have to apologize for taking your time in vain.
It works for me too now.
I still don't know what caused the problem but for sure it was something on my side.

Re: Displaying assigned collors for vector formats with thumbnail caching enabled
Could you copy in an empty folder, the files with incorrect color? Colors are always incorrect?

Re: GhostScript portable & XnViewMP
After testing thoroughly MP 0.79 and the latest MP 0.87 I must correct some of my statements.
Contrary to what I stated before, you can browse .svg and .svgz files in later versions but only in fullscreen-mode.
Other vector formats like .ai and .eps can be browsed in both fullscreen and none ...

Re: GhostScript portable & XnViewMP
XnView MP portable works with GhostScript if the latter is installed but not with GhostScript portable.
It works because it can find GhostScript in Windows' registry and it doesn't if there is no registry entry (portable GhostScript).
I assume this could be fixed by Pierre but I also realize that ...

Re: GhostScript portable & XnViewMP
If you need to use XnView MP as a portable application with Ghostscript support, I doubt if that is currently possible... :(
I'm using XnView MP as a portable application and would like to point it to the location of the portable Ghostscript so it can display the thumbs for ai. and .eps files ...
