Re: Edit of IPTC not showing in other Programs
When I use the IPTC Editor to write initial IPTC, this information displays correctly in other programs. Now, here is the huge problem, and this has affected thousands of my images before I caught it --- when I edit the IPTC again, whether to add new information or to correct information, this new ...

Re: GPS Editor Erratic in Applying Data
you means that image file with problem, has good value in XnView MP but not in other programs? Correct. I have found a work-around that seems to help = before moving on to other programs, I just reload the images a second time and click Write again; going through the process twice seems to insure t...

Re: GPS Editor Erratic in Applying Data
it's hapenned always on same picture file? No; the behavior is random. My machine is 64-bit Windows 7 Pro Random images that have had the GPS data applied with XnView MP = other programs show them as not having the data = I can reload the images that are missing the data, one by one, back in the Xn...

Batch Adding IPTC Date/Time Taken ??? I Figured it out !
I have many many jpeg images with meticulously created IPTC data, but without the IPTC Date/Time Taken. If I select a group of these images and open the IPTC editor, under the Date/Time tab, and choose Exif Date/Time Taken and then "Write to All Files", it replaces all of my meticulously created dat...

GPS Editor Erratic in Applying Data
As per my discussion started here: https://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=82&t=40864 When using the GPS editing dialogue, regardless of whether doing them singly or four or five at a time, about 50% of the time, the information does not "stick". (all jpegs) For example, if I load three images,...

Re: Adding GPS Coordinates does not always "Take" ???
I installed the most recent version and the problem remains.
I do like the new copy/paste feature in the new version; however, it does not copy/paste the altitude.

Re: Adding GPS Coordinates does not always "Take" ???
could you post a way to reproduce? And with lastest version? I really don't see but one way to do this = I select one or a few jpeg images in the thumbnail browser - click "Edit GPS Data" - type in the coordinates - click "Write" or "Write to All" and the dialogue closes. I will download and instal...

Adding GPS Coordinates does not always "Take" ???
First, let me say that I really like the simplicity and quickness of the GPS editor. However, using the GPS editing dialogue, regardless of whether doing them singly or four or five at a time, about 50% of the time, the information does not "stick". (all jpegs) For example, if I load three images, a...

Re: Right-click Context Menu ???
What would you like to accomplish? I would like to have the option to remove all but two choices from the right-click menu = Edit IPTC and Edit Comment Of course, such a modification would need to be reversible to default. I have those options on the toolbar, but that takes a long mouse maneuver ba...

Right-click Context Menu ???
Is it possible to customize the context menu one sees when right-clicking a thumbnail ?
If it is not possible, I have made the suggestion that it be made so.
Thanks for reading and all help is appreciated.

Editable Right-click Menu
If it is not already possible and I just don't know how to accomplish it, it would be nice if the context menu one gets when right-clicking a thumbnail were editable in the exact same fashion as the toolbar is editable; such that one could customize the right-click menu for the current operation, ch...

jpegs Mysteriously Disappear in XnViewMP
64-bit Windows 7 Pro I am frequently having a situation where jpeg files that I know for fact are in a given folder are not displaying in XnViewMP; it is as if they don't exist. Sometimes, a jpeg will be displaying and then just disappear. Up until now, I have always been able to just switch XnViewM...
