Re: 0.53: Improvements for File associations
thanks so much. I will try it out. I can also revert back since I've done it a few times I was just hoping to make the switch over and not go back.

Re: 0.53: Improvements for File associations
is the file associations set in MP like the old version or do you need to do them manually? I had an issue moving from old version to new
version before it was released. So I wanted to know if it is still an issue before spending time moving to MP.
thanks

Re: File assocations
Actually I figured out a few things. Always good learning from these type of things. I learned that if I go to default programs - set your default program, you then click on Windows Photo Viewer - set this program as default. This will restore Win7 to it's original associations for all image files (...

Re: File assocations
I tried the run as admin removing the check box for the files I have selected. It doesn't do anything. The file association sticks with Win7 and can only be removed by forcing it to MS image viewer. Then once that is set you can reset XNview to use it but I cannot have both versions on the machine a...

Re: File assocations
Weird I just tried to move to MP and had the same issue. Removing the association in xnview (old) will not remove it. So I changed it back to default windows viewer and then tried to change to MP but no matter what I do it wants to associate it with the old one. Any advice would be great. I could ha...

copy/moving conflict option - seen in Vista-Win7
I would like to see a conflict option letting you skip more than one file similar to Vista and Win7 when copying or moving files from one folder to another. I love the preview option you added for my some time ago  but I was hoping you could add this in as well. Please look at the screen sh...

if the sort order in the browser is set to date and you scroll through pictures in File View will it scroll through by date? Seems like when I change this setting to Name (numeric) it sorted per normal. I find that it is odd that this effects the File View, I can see it in the browser view cause I m...

sorry I forgot about the small X to close from viewing from the browser mode but the close from full screen I will miss :( for me that was pretty neat cause many time I would rather do that at the mouse instead of hitting the keyboard. Is there a way to make it an option ? Make it default the way i...

closing from full screen or from viewing in browser
Not sure why but with this new version when I hit close on the right click menu it closes the picture instead of closing from full screen. I know this is the action cause I find myself doing it by habit all the time so I know it was there before. Just not sure how to change it or if I can change it....
