Minor mishap with the French version
Hello, When we click on Help > check update information with the French version of Xnview, we get a message that says this is the last version of the program. Not latest. Last. "Ceci est la dernière version de xnview" Certainly it's no big issue, but it is easily possible to misunderstand it and bel...

Hello,
I can confirm the bug is resolved with the 0.91 beta I tested, batch files are no more sent to the recycle bin.

Re: Resources hogging during batch operation
About "delete original": this is a currently bugtracked issue ( https://www.xnview.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=1412 ), I have it ticked but it isn't done for the moment. I don't mind much. About keyboard being unusable while a batch is ongoing: that is the real issue. i would like to know if the probl...

Resources hogging during batch operation
Hello, MP 0.90 here, for something I already had with the previous version too. Honestly sorry about that, this will be a confusing bug report, because I am confused myself. The problem, basically: when I run a batch file operation in Xnview MP (usually: resizing), I notice the program is hogging re...

Lacking resize options (improvement suggestion in post)
Hello! Constructive criticism, based on the current latest stable 0.90 program version, I try to keep it readable, to help. 1/ Description of the current settings: I have a concern with the "Action > picture resize" options in Xnview, they only allow to select either the longest or the shortest side...

Wrong changelog
Hello! Not sure it's the proper forum to mention it TBH, sorry. So, - in the Downloads page for XnviewMP, https://www.xnview.com/fr/xnviewmp/#downloads , - in which, at the present time, the version offered for download is version 0.90 - The "changelog" links to the changelog of the version 0.89, ht...

0.90 - Directory stuck in "locked" (impossible to move or rename) after batch operation
Hello! Windows 10 x64, XnView MP Windows, Version 0.90 64bits (Mar 4 2018), Libformat version 7.16 on my computer. I don't know if this is old or not, I simply noticed it this week. I discovered that - once you make a batch operation on a directory (currently, for me, batch resizings of every image ...

0.89 - Batch processed files sent to recycle bin despite contrary choice in options
Howdy! A minuscule bug report of no consequence. Context: I noticed that, in conjunction with voidtool's Everything monitoring changes in the system's files, batch operations cause a slowdown in my PC when files are sent to the recycle bin instead of being deleted for real immediately. And I found t...

Re: Can we bring up the "default" system right-click menu, when the need arises?
This is the one feature I'm missing with XnviewMP, and I really, really miss it, I can't bring myself to alt-tab between the images viewer and the OS's file Explorer (win-R, paste working directory, Enter)... I reckon it would be fast to do, and yet, it's still a bother. if only I could do it, I wo...

Can we bring up the "default" system right-click menu, when the need arises?
Hello! When I deal with image folders, I still use to this day ACDSee Classic instead of the default windows Explorer (ever since windows 2k, now with 10). It's got the advantages of allowing to view and manage images (duh) and also with a shift-List key or a Shift-right click on an image or a direc...

Constructive criticism idea: Do NOT halt on error during batch image operations
Hello, Constructive criticism and suggestion: there ought to be an option in Xnview where we tell the program to store error logs for when the batch is over, and keep on processing every listed batch operation till the end :) Context for my suggestion, if anyone cares: I ran into a corrupted file er...
