Re: Are there plans to migrate away from QtAV?
We'll keep an eye for bugs, new SDKs tend to be unstable.

Are there plans to migrate away from QtAV?
QtAV has not been maintained since January. Are there plans to switch to a different library?

Re: 0.98.4: Videos appear upside down
The EXIF is not at fault since every other player displays the videos with the correct orientation.
This is an XnView bug.

Icons for some file types missing
XnView comes with some icons for common file types in C:\Program Files\XnViewMP\FileIcons
However, some file types like .svg and .ico are missing. Where can I find icons for those types?

Re: XnViewMP 0.92: portrait videos playing upside down
XnView MP uses a component based on ffmpeg, and there is no way to manage orientation.
ffmpeg can definitely do a 180 degrees rotation of a video (or a combination of vertical and horizontal flips, which give the same end result).

Re: Video playback orientation for portrait videos
It's been almost 3 years since the problem has been reported. It happens both in XnView classic and Xnview MP, but not in VLC, Media Player, or any other player I tried.
What makes it so difficult to fix?

When I tried it, videos stopped displaying at all. I got the controls but the video display area was blank.
